Our Clients

NWH Clients

All of the homes built for Northumberland Workforce Housing are to be sold to families or individuals who are either:

  • Currently working in Northumberland County or
  • Coming to Northumberland County with an employment agreement.

Down Payment

Clients of the program would contribute $2,000 toward the down payment of an NWH home, while NWH would cover the remaining portion of the 5% down payment as a grant. This grant does not need to be repaid until the home is sold in the future.

Future Equity

While we are investing together, NWH is a steppingstone for your housing journey. The longer you stay in the home, the more equity you can build. After 5 years, you will be able to retain 70% of the home’s equity.
